Beer is a ritual — the pop of the cap, the pour, the first cold sip with friends. The alcohol was never the point. So we brewed real craft beer and took it out.
Crack one at the gig. After the last meeting. Mid-ranked-match. At the bar when it's your round and you're driving. On a Tuesday, because tomorrow has a 9am. This isn't about what you don't drink — it's a beer for the moments beer never fit before. Same energy, minus the alcohol.
Early reactions from tastings of our first in-house pilot batch — the first commercial run ships in September.
The Wit is the one I'd put on any table I set — orange peel, proper haze, and no drunken rants on the table haha. Nobody would guess it's under 0.5%.
I train six days a week, and beer never fit the plan. SOMA Lager after a long ride is the reward without the setback. 63 calories. Ridiculous.
The can looks premium on the table, the Belgian Wit tastes like a proper craft beer, and nobody at dinner asks why I am not drinking anymore.

We do not skip fermentation or fake the flavor. SOMA is brewed exactly like full-strength craft beer in Bangalore — the alcohol only leaves at the very end.
Indian and imported barley malt is milled and steeped in hot purified water, converting grain starches into the sugars that give beer its body and color.
The wort is boiled and layered with imported US and EU hops — noble varieties for the Lager, Citra and Mosaic for the IPA, Fuggle for the Stout.
Our proprietary ale yeast ferments the beer full-strength, developing the same esters and depth of flavor as any craft beer you have loved.
Vacuum distillation lowers the boiling point so alcohol evaporates gently at low temperature — stripping the alcohol to <0.5% ABV, not the flavor.
The beer is re-carbonated and sealed in 500ml aluminium cans. Every batch is lab-tested for ABV, microbiological safety, and taste consistency.
An FSSAI food product. Purified Bangalore water, real barley malt, imported hops, and a yeast strain we guard like a family recipe. Every batch lab-tested to verify <0.5% ABV.
